use an inclinometer (floating angle gauge) to
measure the trans or rear hanger in deg., then
2-5 deg. offset off that yoke for the driveshaft
then adj. rear w/ wedges for same offset so the
U-Joints wear correctly AND this is all done at
normal ride height w/ tires on equal height blocks
if needed not jacked up.
sometimes a spacer is needed at trans mount or
you may need to reposition the hanger holes to
get the right interference angle at ea. end.
you can wear out U-Joints in 5-10k miles if its
not done right or at least close.
