I've had this problem over the course of several months now. It starts out with
the engine rev'ing up 300rpm for a second or so and then down, usually at
constant highway speed but has also done it driving around town. This
fluctuation in rpm will continue for a while and then the engine light turns
on. In the past, the problem would go away and the light would turn off after a
couple of trips.
I just found out how to check the codes and did that last night when the light
came on again. I get P0203 through P0208, which are listed as injector circuit
malfunction on cylinders 3 through 8.
Anyone know of the cause/fix for this? I'm driving from CA to TX about a week
from now and would like to fix this if possible.
If not, I'll have to try to get it into the dealer on Tuesday.
