Hey, Tim...
<snip> I think they are 18mm which is fine, but my thread guage says that
its 1.5 thread pitch. That's
non-standard. I went to a local fastener warehouse and they were baffled.
Do I need to buy 2 balljoints just to get the stupid nuts? Would a dealer
have these? I'm thinking 'boneyard' now, but I'd rather have new
hardware.<snip>
Why not talk to a local machine shop & have them whip you up a couple out of
alloy steel?
They could be heat treated to any hardness/tensile strength you need...
I have all the thread specs in ANSI/ASME B1.13M
I can chase the threads on my speed lathe, &
If I had a Bridgeport I could mill the hex, but ...*sigh*... someday...
Just my .02k...
