I tossed the OEMs on my '03 with under 10K on it.

No complaints on the Edelbrock IAS shocks I put on my '03 4x4. It's
good & firm. Not as stiff as the RS5000s I had on my '99, but I didn't
want that stiff a ride on this truck.
