I don't think so, unless he was subscribed under a different
e-mail address than he posted from. Whenver I see something like
that, I have a simple command I can run on the command line that
will unsubscribe someone from all versions of the DML. I didn't
actually bother to check that the address was subscribed first,
or to see if it was successful, I just ran the thing, and if he
complains again then I guess it didn't work and I need to look
into it further. (No sense in me putting any more effort into
the unsubscribe than he did...) ;-)
