I've had a Rhino since January of '03. I like it a lot. It's lost a
little bit of its anti-skid properties, but the dealer will fix that if
I stopped being lazy and went up there.

I went with Rhino basically because they were the only choice in my area
at the time. The closest Line-X dealer was over an hour away. Since
then, they're both in the area. If I had it to do again, I'd probably
choose based on price since they are both excellent products.

Prior to getting my Rhino, I had a Duraliner drop-in. It worked, but
the paint on the bed was scraped up when it got pulled out. Water also
collected under there during the rainy season, and water + exposed metal
= you know what.

The *only* downside to spray-in liners is that the bed and liner will
dent if you drop heavy blunt objects in the bed. Since I don't do that
(the stuff I carry most frequently is watersports gear, and the
occasionaly load of soil or bags of concrete mix), it was fine. If I
were going to beat the crap out of the truck, I'd get a spray-in and
then put a good drop-in over it. :-)

I have a Downey LTD, as do several others on the list. I bought mine
from bmecovers.com at the recommendation of the list. I've been very
happy with it. The only complaint I have is that there is a tiny gap
between the cover and my bedrails near the back of the truck. It's very
convenient to have it tilt up. Makes it a lot easier to get items out
of the front of the bed when you don't want to have to move all of the
stuff in the back to get to it.

I've been considering a hard tonneau for the added durability and
security. I probably won't bother, though. It'd nice to be able to
remove the cover so easily... not to mention that the actual cover will
fold up and fit in my back seat.
