well here is my story... i was driving down the road.. fun fun... and then
... nothing... no trans... well i cursed a bit...... towed it to my trans
guy... then to my mechanic... took trans out.... torq was shot... oh yea its
one of those (a 500)..... then the mechanic said the fluid was pretty darn
dirty.. yup already had it rebuilt in january..... and i did put in that
expensive crap from the dealer..... like everyone told me gota use it... so
took it to the trans guy... he took it appart... said something got in
there...... antifreeze... hell no impossiable.... no rad hook up at all..
brand new lines.. and cooler... so im thinkin BS from him..... so yea......
apparently got that hot it melted some aluminum... or something he is tellin
me the trans is usless now.. just after i had it rebuilt in januarn... ok so
i am pi$$ed off..... i mean... really....so i herd the a500 is a piece of
crap... now my rig is a 93 dakota 4x4 extended cab... i would love to put
something heavier cause i haul a steel cap with it full of construction
tools.. alot of weight... the cap droped the rearend about 1-2 inches at
least.. then the tools.... but it used to be a rail truck so its taking the
weight..... so yea can anyone help me... what will fit what wont fit... what
can be made to fit.... does drive shafts need to be changed.... made...
modifyed brackets... anything and everything...cause i am in a jam... no
money lots of bills as everyone.... and the winter is commin... LAYOFF from
work :S...... so yea... all or any help would be great........ oh yea i do
have a 88 dak 4x4 in the yard.. but trans is shot also i think... motor is
going into my 89 dak convertable.... but if anyone is lookin for parts in
PEI Canada give me a ring maybe we can figure something out... buy a whole
truck for parts and park it somewhere... so im in a jam... anyone i mean
anyone with info would be great... i found out a bunch about the 3 speeds
and stuff but need some people that has actually done this sorta thing....
