Apparently they can. I called at about 2:00 to find out what was
going on, and after they spent a couple minutes trying to find the
papers, they said it was done and ready to be picked up.

Thanks for calling to tell me that! These guys do this all the time.
Is it too much to ask that they call to say "we've finished, ready for
you to pick it up"?
