Well I arrived in Forestville at 10:30 pm, made a pitstop at the Burgerking -
and headed on in to the Barn. JUST as I got 50 feet from Jon's drive way,
three deer jumped out infront of me. I was doing about 40 - but I knew there
was no way I could avoid hitting them. I hit one - and thought "well there
goes the front end of the truck" - as I skidded and the impact went "crunch"
Pulled in Jon's driveway, greet Jon with a string of vulgarity as I jump out.
There is barely any sign I hit anything!! THe bumper got pushed up a little
and there is a crease in the corner... but not the smashed up front end I
expected. Didn't even blow any bulbs out!
800 miles only to hit something on Jon's road! (grumble)
Well it could have been LOTS worse. I asked Jon if this means I can take the
Ram wheeling now? To which he replied well either that or I "used up my carnage
quota for the weekend already"
