to do a factory swap, you'd have to find a 03 or 04 Dak. You'd have to stick
with a 2wd assembly because the spring perches are on the top of the axle.
If you get a 4x4 rear, the perches are on the bottom of the exle and you'll
have to cut em' off and re-weld them. Durango R/T's had rar discs, but the
axle is too narrow, so you can't use that one. If you can get lucky enough,
you may be able to find one from a 03 R/T. That'll give you 9 1/4, 3.92 LSD,
and rear discs. Check around to see if you need a different master cylinder
and stuff. I've seen some 03 and 04 4.7 trucks with rear discs, but I don't
know if they are 9 1/4 or not.. I would totally do it if I had the money....
and I didn't want that Viper brake comversion so bad =)
