I think you've hit the nail on the head there. Again bureaucracy and
liability have conspired to kill a potentially neat idea. I guess
virtually no aftermarket modifications would meet the battery of crash
tests and safety regulations that need to be met by factory vehicles.

That said, I still really want a Power Wagon. I can't decide which I want
more, a Power Wagon, or a TJ Unlimited. Hey, maybe I'll buy them both!
As a matter of fact, I'm going to go over to the dealer right now to place
an order for one of each.
