Heh, this kind of crap is exactly why I don't have my 2000 ordered from
the factory just how I wanted it Dakota. I kept getting driveline
vibrations, took it in 3 times, they kept giving it a 100% clean bill of
health. I finally decided, screw it, I'm going to trade it in to that
dealer since they declare nothing is wrong with it. I called the
salesperson, said I was bringing it in. Exactly 3 miles from my house on
the way to the dealer @ 70mph on the freeway the transfer case grenaded,
dropping the driveshaft and generally tearing shit up bigtime.

I had it towed there, and all the service guys were standing around
sheepish. I ended up getting a few grand off a used 2500 Ram on the lot,
and book value minus 2 grand (price of the t-case repairs etc) on the Dak.
If there is a good dealer out there, I haven't found it yet...
