  Yes, indeed! Whenever torquing something to spec, always be
sure to check the manufacturer's literature (or whatever it is
which is giving you the torque specs) to see if they call for
any type of lubricant, and if so, what kind. Sometimes they
will give you 2 different torque specs - one with lubricant
and one without. If you don't see anything regarding putting
lubricant, oil, grease, etc. on the threads, then it is fairly
safe to assume that they are referring to dry threads.
