I don't consider that picking nits at all. I was trying to decide which
way was best, so i err'd on the "high clamping force" side. In this case
i am glad i did: since it is still loose, i'm pretty sure more tightening
isn't the solution.
Aren't some torque specs (like head bolts) listed with oil in mind? Not
trying to argue, just sort it out.
I did just go and pick up an assembly from the dodge dealer: it does look
a lot different than the BCA Bearings part.
