Lets see; From the front the Stratus has a taller and more rounded profile
compared to the Vipers wide flat profile. The Stratus has a narrow rounded
grill opening stacked over a second rectangular grill opening compared to the
one wide flat opening for the Viper. Stratus has a smooth hood, the Viper has a
buldged hood with a scoop. After looking at your pictures there is some
similarity to the shape of the headlight buckets but the Viper has HID
projector lights to conventional on the Stratus so not much chance of mixing
them up if they are on and the Viper has large distinctive driving lights. The
cross hair in the grill ID's it as a Dodge but that overall wide low profile is
not something you see often and is very distintive. They same can be said about
the rear profile and from the side were talking a two seat roadster verse a 4
seat coupe.

I don't dislike the GTO as a matter of fact I think it is a very attractive car
as are the Grand Am, Grand Prix and Bonneville. As a matter of fact when I
purchased our Avenger coupe back in 97 it was a toss up between the Grand Am
and the Avenger and the Avenger got the nod because it had more back seat leg
room and was a little less common (I have had Dakota's since 93 because they
are less common and have a distinctive look). I am not a mopar, ford or gm guy
I have owned them all and have had equally good luck with them all, I tend to
gravitate to cars that are less common. The changes for 05 have made the GTO
more distinctive and much more appealing to me.

If I was shopping for a new car for myself right now there are only two that
peak my interest. The GTO and the Mustang GT, the Mustang GT would likely get
the nod because it can be purchased for several thousand dollars less. If I was
looking for a car to replace my wife's turbo PT Cruiser it would likely be a
Magnum or a Charger again very distinctive looking. She has expressed a like
for the Magnum and one of the AWD R/T's would be great but she's not about to
give up her PT for several more years and who knows what will be out there
then.

For now I decided to thin my fleet (had 5 registered vehicles for 2 drivers)
and have no plans to purchase anything new in the next few years: to the
practicle go to the beach, get there in the bad weather 4x4 Dakota; my shout
hey look at me Sub-Lime 68 Barracuda; and the practical for long trips, and
carry more than two people, absolute hoot to drive flamed & chromed turbo PT.
All different and distinctive looking vehicles.
