Don, you finally fix the rear end to the Convertible?

Yea, Tom is right, the stock Bosch fog lamps are getting harder and harder to
come by now. The housing was very unique to the Dodge application and are about
an inch or so wider than the typical fog lamps of the same height. For a while
PoopBoys had a set of Bosch Pilot aftermarket fog lamps for about $50 a set
that actually used the same lens assembly as the Dakota lamps. They had
different housings but the lenses were interchangeable. I was able to replace
my broken lenses with the Poopboys set and save a few bucks considering the OEM
lamps were about $70 a piece at the parts counter. I bought the 2 sets they had
in stock at the time, so I had spares but I haven’t seen the Bosch Pilot lamps
at Poopboys since then and I’ve used my last set already. As you know, those
are prone to damage where they’re mounted.

However, if your housings are still in good shape and you only have a broken
lens, there may be an alternative. Do a search on eBay for “Bosch Fog” and
there will be some lamps there that use the same lens. BMW E30, E28 318, 325,
Convertible, 528, 535, and some Volvo and Saab models all had OEM Bosch lamps
with the same lenses, just different housings. You can just swap them into
your stock housings if you still have them.
