Drivetrain vibration under specific conditions

hello DMLers,

I have a drivetrain vibration that shows up under very specific conditions.

all of the following conditions must be met for problem to appear:

1. ) Cruising at any speeds between 50 and 80 mph.

2. ) Ease up on the gas so that the drivetrain and engine are NOT loading each other.
( in other words, torque is *not* being transmitted to the wheels and the wheels
are not sending torque to the back to the engine )

3. ) The gas is not reduced to the point that we are coasting. Because thats torque
right. Its the vehicle being "braked" the the engine resistance.

4. ) Seems to happen with shifter in "Drive" position and not so much in "2" or "1".

So basically what we have here is the driveshaft freely spinning at high rpm but with no
load. ( no torque is being transmitted from one end of shaft to the other. In either
direction engine-to-wheels or wheels-to-engine )

Any ideas?
