Thing is...it's just that, a commercial. I don't believe they changed the
formula at all. The mileage they put on the bottle seems to me to be a slick
marketing ploy. If you go and read the bottles, the Mobil 5000 is regular
dino oil, the Mobil 7500 is a synthetic blend, and Mobil 15000 is straight
synthetic.

IMHO, a sales gimmick, nothing new there.
