BMW and Honda can get impressive power because they rev the piss out of
their engines. Example: how does a 160lb/ft rotary make 250hp? rev to
8500!

American v8 engines have always been about rediculous low-end torque.
Hence the 5000 rpm stock redline on the Magnum engines. Now if the hemi
was DOHC and 4-valve, plus 5.7L... wow. Just not as useful in a truck. :)
