Hmmm - This is going to be a problem for some people..... <evil grin>

I'm not too concerned about net access - frankly I think all of us could
use some time away from gadgets that have blinky lights, wires,
antennas, LCD displays and anything with the word "router" on it. LOL

Some of us may go into withdrawls and cold sweats if we unplug however
LOL. I don't mind doing the daily status reports - so unless Josh gets
me real drunk and I pass out - I should be able to write up at the end
of the day heheh.

Ohhhh I LIIIIIIKE that idea! I liiike! Damn you Jon! Now I have yet
ANOTHER way to spend money that I don't have! hehehehe!

I have a generator as well - and I was pondering playing with the
exhaust on it to see if I can get it to run quieter. Maybe fudge up a
automotive muffler to quiet down the exhaust. Unless I missed
Generators 101 - the most noise mine produces is from the exhaust. The
mufflers they put on there are not very quiet. I also have been
planning on building a Geni-Box. To enclose the unit to protect it from
weather and sound insulate it. This is something I have been working on
for use up at my cabin up north. I have yet to build it yet. I'm
going to incorperate two fans for air circulation and cooling - and pipe
the exhaust out the back.

This National Meet is one time when I wish one of us had a 2500 Ram
Hybrid Contractors Special. But the pencil pushers at D.C must not
think there would be much demand for these - as they are only offering
them for fleet use. I doubt any one of us could go and order one. The
bastards!

There are smaller geni units out there that are quieter. Specifically
called camping generators. But they dont put out much power and I dont
really know how much quieter they are.
