Rear brake shoes in a pickup do so little work (unless you are running fully
loaded all the time) that they should last to the 80-100K mile range. If you
are wearing them out in 6 months (even if they are house brand cheapies) I
would be looking to see what's wrong with your rear brake system.

I have seen semi-metallic shoes but never ceramic, Napa has a sever duty
semi-mettalic which cost more than standard shoes, maybe that's what you
got.

FWIW, Duralast is Autozone's house brand. I would expect these shoes to be
of
similar quality and durability to other low cost house brand parts. That
being
said, as I stated above the rear brakes do very little of the stopping so
unless you are regularly running loaded or towing the Duralast will likely
be
perfectly serviceable. I would save my dollars to get the best stuff for the
front where all the work is being done.
