Cherish Those memories Ed.....and I hope you and your Family take comfort in
the fact that she didn't suffer from along illness, and passed peacefully in
her sleep.

I can only hope that my Grandparents are that lucky when thier time comes to
go to God's kingdom.

My prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time in your
lives.

I'm sad to announce that on Sat, my Grandma, Angie Bavetta died of
congestive heart failure. Those that have been here at my house have met
her. I talked
to her on Tuesday when I was in Montana. On Friday, I took her to the store
which ended up being her last ride. She showed no difficulty in getting
around, beyond the usual putting out the step stool to get in the truck,
and the
weird looks from others when I pulled into the handicapped slot then
realizing
that they didn't see the little 88yo young lady sitting in the pass seat,
she could barely see over the dash, lol! She really liked the Ram, liked
how
big and comfy it was, the power seat, and how powerful it made her feel. On
Sat, I was down in Oceanside, just finished working on a friend's Ram, when
I
got the call. 4:30pm, she went into her room to take a nap and when it was
time
for her to eat, the care taker couldn't wake her up. She passed away in her
sleep. Just the way she wanted. Still 100% alert and sharp as a tack, God
granted her wish. I'm gonna miss her very very much. My Hot Rod Grandma, she
knew what a Hemi was, went to races when my Mom was racing, got a '64 Malibu
in
'66 when Mom got a '66 SS 396 Chevelle, and I quote in her words, which I'll
never forget (remember, she was 85 when she told me this) "It had those
Crager wheels on it and it looked sooo bitchin'!! But I didn't like all the
kids
trying to race me, I could only handle a few." Good bye Gaga, you will be
missed, and never forgotten.
