Yes Biff, I swapped out EVERYTHING forward of the firewall.. PCM, vacuum
lines, the entire harness unplugged from the firewall and came with the
motor. I was going to do eng & trans as a unit.. but since they both used
the same tranny.. I just swapped bellhousings/ clutch assemblies. I didn't
think it should be able to run at all without the PCM working; unless it's
got a very tough limp mode that it's gotten stuck in. It acts like it's
running full rich, and may not have any timing advance working.
It runs much better (but not right) when cold.. and when it warms up, is
more sluggish, throttle sensitive and backfires(seems through both intake &
exhaust)
I'm going to go some more looking around tomorrow, and see if I may have
missed something.
