Subject: DML: Yellowing Headlights
Date: Tue, 24 May 2005 13:20:16 -0400

Greetings from a periennial lurker...LOL

My FIL had bought a gen II about a year ago and has recently noticed his
headlights are yellowing. He also had a Chrysler Concord that has the same
problem and the headlights on my wife's Intrepid are also yellowing. I
checked the archives and found the following:

"You can get rid of the yellowing by removing the headlights from the truck
and soaking them in a bleach and water solution.

Thank you to Bernd for that tid bit!

John"

Has anyone been able to get rid of the yellowing without removing the
headlights? I've heard of using toothpase but I've also heard that it
doesn't work. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Pete
