Vic and the DML:
yeah thats what I'm afraid of. i mean its sound so tempting to do this swap ( 360 for a
318 ). but if there's just one thing that goes wrong then its no fun for me.
i need a fool-proof method to do the swap.
i have a recently rebuilt 46RH. got it just 6 mo. ago. i am thinking it will stand up
to the torque the 360 will put out. but I dont need error codes thrown at me. makes
feel like something I did is wrong. and i would hear it from wife. "Honey, that light
thingy came on again." Who needs that kinda hassle. ya know.
and I am also worried about being Cali street legal. we have that C.A.R.B. thingy to
worry about. I would have to keep the old motor around and every 2 years re-install and
go get the blasted thing smogged. then swap it back.
