EGR Block Off

What's the easiest way to block the EGR port on the intake manifold? I
thought of filling the passage with some epoxy putty or something similar.
It's uninstalled to access to it from inside is easy.

I'll be ordering a Steiger Performance EGR Block Off Plate for the exhaust
manifold. The performance block off plate should be good for 35 HP, right?
