Right on guys! I hadda loosen the bracket bolts & push the whole assembly as
far forward as possible - WHILE holding the brake pedal down with one hand &
finaigling with the ratchet in the other...Again I hadda be a contortionist,
but the job's done...Gotta order me a new right side Powerslot, tho...it's
pretty mahtzoed from the constant "boost"...
I also found that changing the flasher unit is another wrenchhead (mini)
nightmare...gotta remove the steering column cover to get at the damn thing!
On a brighter note, I was all set to attack the leaky powersteering unit, &
while I was looking between the new/old units to see how the hoses are
attached, I found one of the hose clamps on the DAKSY was around the hose,
but NOT on the bent fitting on the pump....Ya think THAT mighta been my leak
point (DUH!)
Now I gotta talk to my Parts Mgr Bud at Dodge World to see if he'll take the
rebuilt pump & hoses back....
