There is usually an airbag control module buried in the car somewhere. In my 92
Lebaron, it is supposed to be underneath the center console somewhere. I
imagine on a 94 Concorde it would be buried in the dash.

That being said, messing with an airbag can cause serious liability issues if
involved in an accident. Insurance companies will look into the issue, and will
curtail or remove benefits if the policy allows it. A good example if PIP in
TX, which has a seatbelt clause on all TX auto polices. If the person dies in
an auto accident, and was wearing a seatbelt, the PIP benefits are
automatically doubled. Similar clauses exist in other states that limit
exposure due to tampering. Same concept as denying collision coverage if the
vehicle is damaged while engaging in racing activites, etc.

The airbag light will illuminate if it is disabled.

The airbag module should be able to be removed. I know a co worker had her
mustang broken into 3 times, only to have the airbag stolen. They are worth a
pretty decent chunk of change on the street. Can cost $2000 to get one from the
manufacturer.
