I never opened up the Fury's rear end to verify the gear get.. The only
thing I could ever make out on the OEM tag on the cover was 5.13.. Which I
didn't realize would have been worth keeping until the car was long since
gone; as for tires.. I rarely ran anything under roughly 29-31" on it..
But factor in a similar Fury with a 360 going beyond the end of the speedo,
running 255/ 70 15's on it; On I-57 in Illinois.. Kankakee to Champaign was
35 min on a regular basis.. GPS.. how about a clock and an atlas.

For the 2.5L.. that's still falling about right then. It was supposed to be
around 130-135HP; so calling the 318 230hp would be almost doubled.

How about the estimated speed of my '69 Roadrunner with 3.23's; and roughly
450-475hp.. It was usually burying the 120 speedo just after it'd shift
into 3rd... talk abou a blurry 2 lane road...
