Just keep in mind that the 230 horse of the 318 was a gross measurement the
next year when they went to net measurements like how your Neon is measured the
318 was 145 horsepower so they were pretty comparable. The neon is a relatively
aerodynamic car and the Fury was a barn door.
FWIW, the 360 magnum engine is the most powerful LA based small block mopar has
built even more powerful than the 340 sixpak cars of the muscel car era.
