481.7 miles on 12.4 gallons = 38.8 MPG.
not too shabby for being to the floor in first through third off every
stop and driving 80MPH everywhere, except for where I do 75 or 85+...

Although I happen to have found (the first time I whipped out my GPS
in the car, last thursday) that my speedometer is about 5% high, so
that's more like 37MPG. I'll be extremely interested to see what I get
the first time I drive it to CT or NYC or MN at a sane speed.

Also interested to see what I get when I start using my Klee's fuel treat
- I picked up about 15% in the Ford 7.3 N/A IDI. I'm sure the TDI won't
see that much improvement but I wouldn't be surprised to see a few MPG.
Have to spend a month laying a 3-4 tank baseline though, so I'll keep
having fun =)

Still not complaining,
