   Should be regular, right hand threads (turn counterclockwise to loosen).
I would try leaving the serpentine belt in place and using a large wrench
to remove the fan, but if its stuck on there pretty good you might
need to loosen a couple of the bolts and wedge a large screwdriver or
a small pry-bar between them in order to lock the pulley in place so
you can loosen the fan nut.
