Keep an eye on the fronts. I ran stock length shocks on the front of my Dak
(2/3 dropped) and had bottoming problems. I broke the little wishbone (part
that the 2 lower bolts secure to the control arm) at the lower end of the
shocks after about 10k miles. I ended up going to shorter shocks and the
ride quality increased, as well as shock longevity. I have no issues with
stock length shocks on the rear though.

You may also want to look into some removable endlinks like the offroad guys
use. That would probably give you a good compromise for on-road driving as
well as at the track. If they don't make them, it's only (IIRC) a 10mm nut
to remove the upper end of the link. It takes 30 seconds per side, you could
easily do it at the track as part of your race prep. (I do when I go to the
track)
