Ah, but the point of shopping online is that they ship the tires to your
door, and the point of finding a store located in Canada is that you
won't have to pay the mind-boggling international shipping charges, plus
duty, plus taxes, plus brokerage fees, plus whatever else they can dream
up to charge.

I'd say at least compare prices online and ask your local shop if
they're willing to meet you halfway. It would save on shipping and hassle.
