With the 180 stat in my 2000 V6 it didn't really change running temp. It
takes a little longer to get to operating temp but that's it.

Now that I'm running the 180 stat with only the stock e-fan I've noticed that
it heats up much quicker. It still runs at the same temp but will creep in
heavy traffic enough to where the fan will sometimes kick on. On the highway
or in regular traffic, it still runs somewhere in the 185 - 200 degree range.

Ambient temps have been in the 20 - 30 degree range lately as well, I get
more heat than I know what to do with. (that could be because of the massive
heater core I just put in though)
