I suspect the timing belt slipped a couple teeth - sounds likt the
piston is whacking the valves... either that or the rod bearings blew -
- but the engine is shaking like hell.. and there are misfire codes.
Pretty sure the thing is toasted. It started this just before I got to
work. Luckily not in the middle of the 36 mile drive. Had my mother
drive up with a Uhaul dolly and I towed the 'sombich home. Car cost me
$1400 , gonna cost me another $400 for a used engine... I can't afford
to have someone install it... so i have to do it myself.. and its a pain
in the freaking ass to change these engines...
Im very not happy. This is how I started my day, and it went downhill
from there... one of the worst freaking days I have ever had. I did
about 75% of the invoicing today - phones were non stop... we're severly
short handed...
And I havn't even got and damned beer tonight...
