Hmmm - the torsion bar? I assume you mean the sway bar. The Torsion
bar is the long bar that runs lengthwise of the truck, from the rear of
the lower control arm - to the anchor point near the transfer case.
You don't need to remove the wheel bearing/hub unit. You need to remove
the CV axle. Now that you have the axle nut off, you have to remove the
CV axle shaft at the inboard mounting point. Remove the 6 bolts that
hold the axle to the flange on the differential. Then you can compress
the shaft and remove it. When removing the axleshaft - be careful not
to let it extend or hang. If the shaft extends too much it can mess up
the internals.
