I had a Magnaflow 12259(5x8x18) 3" on my 5.2 now 5.9 .. It was nice
sounding when driving around locally but on the road at highway speeds it
was loud. When towing it was waaay too loud..
Magnaflow tech said that I should use a 12578 ( 5x11x22 ) instead.
I ended up going with a Flowmaster 70 which my shop had in stock and had a
deal on. It sounds good all around, actually it sounds real good.
