Ray,
I don't see why U-haul would care if you had the lawn tractor in the truck
and the deck under the truck. And I don't see why they'd know. You won't
have that stuff with you when you go to pick the rental truck up, and
there won't be a U-haul agent supervising the loading process... ;-)
That said, you'll want to see what the insurance policy says about it, but
I don't think it would be an issue.
