When you say the battery is showing 12v, did you mean *just 12v* or
12.something? It needs to be above 12.4 or 12.5 to make the PCM happy.
Other than checking for the corroded wires others have suggested, I'd put a
charger on the battery and get it above 12.5v before trying to start it
again.
