I didn't have the special tool for the fuel line any of the times
when I have removed intake manifolds, but what I have done in the
past is to just unbolt the fuel rails (4 bolts), unplug the fuel
injectors, and just gently rock the rail back and forth and pull
the entire rail up with all of the injectors still in it. Then I
just tie it back to the hood or firewall. If you do it that way,
just be careful with it, you don't want to break the connection
between the two rails at the back of the intake manifold.
