I think about that at least once a month or so, too. Trouble is I only
drive 4-5 miles each way so the savings for me would be minimal. If I
had a longer commute I definitely would have retired the Dak from daily
driver status already.
At the current time, my plan is to drive the Dak until it drives no
more. Sure, I'd love to have a new truck (or maybe car) now, but the
thought of having a payment isn't worth it. I'd rather stash the money
and put it towards my next house..
