For the oil pressure sender, you can just install a tee. I've
never messed with the oil pressure sender on a Magnum engine but
I assume it is a NPT thread of some type. Use a tee or whatever
hardware you need to in order to be able to install the stock and
aftermarket senders at the same time.

The water temp is not as simple; you can't use a tee because you
need the senders to be in the water flow in order to be accurate.
(Convection just doesn't do the trick - I tried.) :-) I believe
you have a GenIII Dak, which means you've only got one 1/8" NPT hole
for the water temp sender in the intake, and I don't *think* there
are any extras up there. You basically have two options here,
either find a spot on the intake to drill and tap the appropriate
threads (which usually means pulling the intake or using lots of
grease, a vacuum cleaner, etc. to be extra, extra careful not to
let metal bits run free through your cooling system) or you can
install an adapter in your upper radiator hose to put the Autometer
sender in. The downside to the upper radiator hose route is that the
gauge won't start to register until your thermostat opens, but after
that it's quite accurate. I use one on my '96 Dakota. If you are
interested in such an adapter, I developed these way back when for
the MPI install kits, but I sell them separately also; $20 in either
1/8 or 3/8 NPT, a little more if you want it powdercoated. You can
check 'em out at www.steigerperformance.com (Shamless plug I know,
but you did ask...) :-) Oh, a third route would be to get an intake
manifold from a '92-95 318 or '93-95 360 and swap it for your current
'96+ intake. They have two 1/8 NPT temp sensor bungs. Be aware
though that the older intake will have provisions for EGR, so you
will need an EGR block-off plate to install it in a '96+ truck.
(Shameless plug #2: I sell those also.) ;-) Which route is most
attractive to you I guess depends on what you are looking for,
how much you want to spend and how much work you want to do! :-)
The least expensive would probably be the drill/tap route, assuming
you already have the proper size drill and tap; if not then its
probably a toss up between that and the upper radiator hose adapter.
The easiest as far as labor goes would definitely be the upper radiator
hose adapter.

I hope that helps; good luck with it!
