Well, i got the truck home on Monday morning. And this evening I finally had the time
to look into what exactly happened.

There was a large hole in the heater hose that runs to the top nipple on the firewall.
The hole was about 2" away from the firewall and was on the top side of the hose. So we
had like a fire hydrant going off under my hood! LOL! This is why there was puddle of
coolant sitting on top of my air hat and why everything in the engine bay was so wet.

What I don't understand is how all that coolant raining down in the engine bay could have
made the truck stall? Did the coolant short out the PCM? (The PCM was dripping wet.)
Or did it perhaps short out the wiring harness? ( the distributor cap, plug wires,
and the engine harness was wet too. )

My intake comes from the grille area. But just to be certain the truck did not aspirate
any water, I looked down the throat of the throttle-body with a flashlight. There was
no water that I could see in the intake manifold.

Should I just let it dry out for a few days? Or should I do something else?

p.s. I went to auto-zone and bought some new 5/8" ID heater hose and some new hose
clamps. I will be taking care of changing the hose out tomorrow.
