This would be a Very Bad Thing.

The transmission would have no lubrication, because the pump would not
be turning with the engine off. Even in neutral. There would still be
internal parts moving.

This would require the simple removal of 4 u-joint retainer bolts from
the rear axle yolk... the drive shaft slides forward a little to
disenage from the yolk - and then pull it straight out from the
transmission.

Bad Part: you will loose transmission fluid due to the slip yolk set up
on the transmission tail housing. You can just tape it up or whatever,
to prevent fluid loss... but you will loose some fluid dropping the
shaft. Have a drain pan ready.

As it stands we will probably tow the stratus and
