Hey Don - I was just looking at the pics of the engine swap and saw
soemthing I didn't notice before. While you already have the engine in
by now, I'll point out anyway that an engine should never be lifted by
the intake manifold bolts. The intake maniifold is aluminum for one, and
those bolts are smaller than the bolts you would use to lift by the
head. Best way to lift is cross from the drivers side head on the front
to the passenger side head at the rear. The bolts holding the heads in
place are much beefier and are designed to handle the extreme pressures
inside the combustion chamber. Point being, that the heads are not
likley to go flying off when you lift by them - but the engine is much
more at risk of dropping if lifted by the intake bolts - which are not
up to the task (tensile strength and all that bs) of holding the weight
of the engine.
