We had been looking at some other DC vehicles that got better fuel
economy but I failed to mention that as a basis for being "un-green".
My fault. However, you're absolutely right. I should give those
engineers much more credit for making a relatively big engine get those
fuel economy numbers. If my math is right, my 5.2 would have to get 18
city /25 hwy to match the displacement-specific fuel economy of the 6.1,
and that's giving up 900cc and about 200hp to it. Amazing.
