RE: Vent Fan only works on high

Sounds like the old resistor block problem. On Gen I and II's (maybe later
years too), there's a resistor held in by 2 bolts on the passenger side
firewall under the hood. It's about 2" x 3/4" and to the extreme left side
(passenger). Pull the 5 or 6 wire plug off, the 2 bolts and it should be
pretty obvious if the resistor is bad.
Hope this helps.
James

Subject: DML: Vent Fan only works on high

Just in time for 100 degree heat, my vent fan only works on high. I am
happy that at least high works. All the other levels give me nothing. I
was driving along with the AC on medium and all of a sudden it just quit.
Any ideas on this? Are these vacuum switches? Could is just be a split
hose?
