Wow, I sure missed this thread...
I had my trans done at a shop in Schaumburg called Roadmaster Transmission,
they did an OK job but it was pretty expensive and I wouldn't go back there.
In the past my friends and I have used a shop local to me in Oak Forest
called D&D Transmission with good results. They're inexpensive and do the
job right the first time, definately worth checking out. They've been there
forever too so they're pretty established.
