1st, i'll say that i never buy gas based on time of day.

But to give "them" :) a little credit, there weren't predictions of 10 degree changes, and the underground tanks were mentioned. Still, there would be some change in temperature, and the optimum time was said to be morning, which was after the coolest air temperature.

For me it's academic: i don't like stopping for gas, so usu wait til it's pretty empty.
